Gizem Sezan Gezen, was born in Istanbul, completed her high school education at Arnavutköy Korkmazyiğit Anatolian High School. During her university education, she completed her undergraduate education at Istanbul Commerce University with a full scholarship and as the first in the department. She completed her master's degree in Istanbul Commerce University, Department of Applied Psychology in 2011 with a scholarship. Having a Master's degree; She carried out his graduation project titled "The Relationship Between Self-Concept and Depression in Secondary School Students" in three village schools in Çanakkale. During her education, she did her internship at Tohum Autism Foundation as part of the "Social Responsibility Project". During her education, she participated in various national and international education programs.

Since 2017, she has been providing psychotherapy services for children, adolescents and adults in Istanbul Psychodrama Institute.
